Free Tuition
- (Level 2)
Free tuition is now available for all Adults who:

Are aged over 19
4
Do not have a full Level 2 qualification (NVQ Level 2 or City
and Guilds or 5 GCSEs grades A-C).

Adult Learning
Grant
If you are aged 19 or over you can receive a grant of up to
£30 a week to study a Level 2 or 3 qualification. Whether
you get the full £30 depends on your household income
(If you study more than 12 hours and earn less than £30,000

Learner
Support Fund
Even if you do not qualify for free tuition or an Adult Learning
Grant, ask at your local college about the Learner Support
Fund. This could be available to help you with other costs
stopping you from doing a course, such as transport or childcare.
