What are Skills for Life?

The ability to read, write and speak in English and to use mathematics at a level necessary to function at work and in society in general. There are many courses available on a full-time, part-time and on-line basis at many places across Sussex.

Skills for Life Development Centre:

The Centre's main areas of activity are continuing professional development for all those involved in Skills for Life delivery and increasing the demand for Skills for Life in the workplace.

Working in partnership with FE Sussex, the Centre is supported by the Learning and Skills Council Sussex and the regional development agency, SEEDA.
