ESF Assessor Training and ESF Assessor Pool

In recent years colleges identified that a shortage of assessors was a barrier to greater engagement of learners in the workplace.

FE Sussex provided an innovative solution by obtaining ESF sponsorship too establish an assessor pool which would be common and available to all colleges in Sussex. The pool is open to those who wish to qualify and practice as an assessor and also those who are already qualified.

Pan-Sussex advertising has taken place and candidates who require training are now in the process of qualifying at a number of different colleges in Sussex. Qualified assessors who applied have already been matched to vacancies across Sussex.

Sponsorship of this project is via the European Social Fund and, assuming you meet certain criteria, free training is available until June 2010.
