Governors’ Conference

The Governor's Conference was held on Tuesday 24th April 2007 at Stanmer House.

There were two main presentations, one from David Smith, LSC on the 'Key Strategic Drivers that will affect Colleges' followed by a presentation from Sir Bernard O'Connell on 'How to create an outstanding college – the role of the governing body'. These were then followed by two workshops: Sir Bernard O’Connell – Transformational Governance and Brian Godbold – FE Finance and Funding – Now and the Future.

14-19 Annual Conference

The 14-19 Annual Conference was held on Tuesday 23rd January 2007 at Brighton Racecourse.

The Keynote Focus was on 'Teaching and Learning' by Dr Joe Harkin, Oxford Brooks University. The day will included a range of workshops plus an update on Diplomas by Mike Prior, SE Regional Lead for the Vocational Learning Support Programme.
