Peer Review and Development

FE Sussex has secured limited funding to work with member colleges for the purposes of peer review and development.

The work to be undertaken in the academic year 2008/09 builds on similar work from the previous year.

For the purposes of Self Assessment external validation and critical friends colleges are paired with a similar but geographically remote college. Colleagues of each college sit on the other’s validation panel and provide constructive and robust criticism as part of the quality assurance cycle.

Areas of concentration in 2008/08 centre on TQS and Framework For Excellence alongside individual curriculum review.
