Cancelled – Safeguarding Obligations for Managers & Aspiring Managers in FE


Safeguarding responsibilities affect every person working and participating in further education.  The purpose of this half-day workshop is to increase the awareness of staff, managers and aspiring managers to their responsibilities by alerting and updating their knowledge of safeguarding statutory responsibilities and duties.

At the end of the workshop colleagues will be able to:

  • Explain their own and other roles in safeguarding
  • Assess their own organisations’ safeguarding practices
  • Develop an action plan for improvement where necessary
  • Improve the Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare of learners
  • Share good practice
